Běimén (奮起湖)


Běimén used to be a coastal town in the southwest of Taiwan, but with the growth of T'ainan, it has become a suburb of that city.. It is the terminal of the Ālǐshān Forest Railway that connects it with the mountain resort of Ālǐshān Xiāng, the town of Fànqǐhú and the Ālǐshān National Scenic Area.
