Bafoussam

The city of Bafoussam is actually composed of the 7 villages of Bamendzi, Banengo, Ndiangdam, Ndiangsouoh, Ndiangbou, Ngoueng and Toukouop.

There are two gares routière, one north of the center on Avenue de République for buses heading for Bamenda and the main one is right in the city's center.

There are also 2 main markets: Marché A and Marché B. In the south of Bafoussam are the scenic Baleng Crater Lake

There are several hotels in Bafoussam and food can be found around the main gare routière in the form of food stalls. Several restaurants are scattered throughout the city. Most of the nightlife in Bafoussam is located inthe are of Akwa.

Bafoussam is located about 220 km northwest of Yaoundé.
