Baie-Orientale (Orient Beach)
Baie-Orientale (Orient Beach) is not far from French Cul-de-Sac on the eastern coast of the island of Saint-Martin. The beach is marvelous and has white sand and bright turquoise waters that are usually calm and perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
There is also a naturist resort, called Club Orient. The bay on which orient Beach is situated, is an underwater nature reserve. Other activities that are available around Orient Beach, include windsurfing, Hobie Cat sailing and jet-skiing.
Hurricane Luis caused massive devastation in 1995 and in 2017 Oriental Beach was damaged by Hurricane Irma.
Orient Beach is 7 km east from Marigot.
