Bankass

Bankass is a good starting place for hikes through the Falaise de Bandiagara. The town is 510 km east of Bamako. The Tuesday market is a good place to buy blue Dogon cloth. There is an earth-brick mosque in the center of Bankass.

There is little accommodation in Bankass and there are not many restaurants either.
