Barberton

Barberton is a town in Mpumalanga, about 290 km east of Pretoria and 45 km south of Mbombela. Barberton is an old mining center that has its origins in the 1880's gold rush and the miners used to refer to it as the Valley of Death.

There is little of interest in Barberton. There are several hotels and restaurants in town.
