Bohol Island

The main attraction on Bohol, one of the Visayan Islands, are the brown-colored limestone hills known as the Chocolate Hills. The island has nice beaches as well. There are also numerous interesting churches on Bohol Island.

Bohol was in the news in 2013, when it was devastated by a massive earthquake. You can get to Bohol Island by ferry from the nearby city of Cebu.
