Bredasdorp

Bredasdorp is a town in the southern part of South Africa. It was founded in 1838 and named after Michiel van Breda, the first Mayor of Cape Town.
The town boasts several historic churches, art galleries and craft shops.

There are several hotels and restaurants in Bredasdorp. The city is located only 35 km (22 mi) north from Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa. It is 160 km southeast from Cape Town and some 1,260 km southwest from Pretoria.
