Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park
The Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park, or Great Bukit Barisan Forest Park is located on Sumatra's southern tip, some 1,100 km southeast of Medan and 215 km west of Jakarta. It consists of an arboretum that was established in 1916 and renovated in 1989. After the renovation it was renamed Great Bukrit Barisan Forest Park.
The park is a UNESCO world heritage site.
