Cahuita

Cahuita is a Creole beach paradise. Most people visit the town for the nearby Cahuita National Park, which offers attractive beaches, coral reef and coastal rain forest. A popular beach in Cahuita is Playa Negra (Black Beach). Interesting nearby towns are Limón, north of Cahuita and Puerto Viejo to the south.

There are many hotels and restaurants in Cahuita. The town is on Costa Rica's Caribbean Coast, some 140 km east of San José.
