Canaima

Canaima is spectacularly situated on the Río Carrao. Not far from town is a stretch of the river that includes seven beautiful waterfalls. On a nearby tributary, some 60 km southeast of town, is the world's highest waterfall, Salto Angel (Angel Falls), which drops uninterrupted 807 m (2,647 ft). Canaima is also a good place to stay if you want to visit the nearby Canaima National Park.

There are numerous hotels and restaurants in Canaima. The city is 645 km southeast of Caracas.
