Cardiff
Cardiff is the bustling capital of Wales. There is an interesting castle in the center of town and the national museum, as well as the art gallery, is worth a visit. Cardiff's docks area has been revamped and is very nice to stroll around in.
Cardiff is a good place to stay, as there are numerous interesting towns in its vicinity. There are numerous hotels and restaurants, but they are quite busy throughout the year; during the summer with tourists and the rest of the year with students from Cardiff's university. The city has an arts center and theatre, as well as a pop arena and some nice beaches. Cardiff is 220 km west of London.
