Creel

Creel is a good place to stay if you want to visit the Basaseachic Falls, 140 km to the northwest, or the smaller Cascada Cusárare, 22 km south of town. The inhabitants of Creel are mostly native people of the Rarámuri ethnic group.

There are many hotels, café's and restaurants in Creel. Tours to nearby Copper Canyons and throughout the surrounding area are available in town. Creel is 1220 km northwest of Mexico City.
