Desa Lingga
Desa Lingga is a unique Karo Batak village with well-preserved, traditional houses that are still in use nowadays. Five or six families inhabit each house. The decorative timber buildings have graceful thatched roofs and can be visited after paying a small fee. Some of the dwellings were damaged when a tornado passed through the village in 2011.
Desa Linga is some 15 km from Berastagi.
