Eastern China

The eastern coastal region of China has many interesting sights to offer to travellers. The country's capital is situated there, as well as one of its most important ports. All over the densely populated coastal area are numerous sacred mountains, beautiful gardens and magnificent temples. Some of the coutry's greatest leaders are buried there.

The airports of Beijing or Shanghai are the most likely places of arrival to the region, although it is also possible to arrive by boat from Taiwan. Most of the larger cities have airports and are connected to the rest of the country by rail and road as well.
