El Balyana (البلينا)
El Balyana, or Al Balyana, is close to the site of the Temples of Abydos of which the Temple of Seti is the most complete temple ever discovered in Egypt. There is a large necropolis near the temples that was the most 'popular' place to be buried for centuries.
You can take a taxi to the site from town, but it is possible to walk there as well. There are several hotels and restaurants in El Balyana.
