Ferkessédougou

Ferkessédougou is the last place of any size when travelling north to Burkina Faso. Most locals refer to it as 'Ferké'. The gare routière for transportation to the north is in the center of town. Accommodation is available, but restaurants are harder to find. You can always buy some food from one of the food stalls. On Thursdays there is a market in town. Ferkessédougou is 312 km north of Yamoussoukro.
