Ferrerías (Ferreries)

Ferrerías is a colorful and lively village in the center of Menorca. It got its local name of Ferreries from the Catalan word of blacksmith, which is 'ferrer'. The are a few nice buildings in town, including the parish church of Sant Bartomeu on Plaça Espanya and the town hall (ayuntament).

Accommodation and restaurants are available in town. Ferrerías is in the center of Menorca, some 675 km southeast of Madrid.
