Franschhoek
Franschhoek is a small village that is settled in some of South Africa's most beautiful surroundings. It is one of the country's oldest towns that was originally called Oliphants hoek for the many elephants roaming the area. There is a small museum in town and the scenic Dutch Reformed Church is also worth a visit.
There are several hotels and restaurants in town. Franschhoek is 1265 km southwest of Pretoria.
