Garden Route National Park
The Garden Route National Park is located in South Africa's Garden Route region. The coastal reserve covers some 1,1210 km² (470 sq mi) of the coutry's last remaining indigenous forests and features a scenic coastline, as well as the 41-kilometer long Otter Trail; a hiking trail that runs along the coast.
The Garden Route National Park was established in 2009, when Tsitsikamma National Park, Wilderness National Park and the Knysna National Lake Area were amalgamated with several other areas.
