Garoua-Boulaï
Although Garoua-Boulaï is the main border crossing point between Cameroon and the Central African Republic, it is very hard to get there. Since the roads in the area are not very good, many people take the train to N'Gaoundal and then take a minibus from there, which is probably the best solution. If you hitchhike from Yaoundé it can take up to a week to get to Garoua-Boulaï.
There is some accommodation available at the Polish Mission Catholique and there are some auberges. Garoua-Boulaï is about 400 km northeast of Yaoundé. Garoua-Boulaï is sometimes spelled as Garoua-Boulay.
