Gasa (དགའ་ས་)
Gasa is a town in the northeast of Bhutan. Most people visit it during a popular trek between nearby Lingshi Dzong and Laya.
Gasa is the location of Gasa Dzong
(དགའ་ས་རྫོང), which was built in the 1640s to commemorate a victory over the Tibetans. The building was badly damaged by a fire in 2008.
