Grand Popo

Grand Popo used to be a slave-trading post and later became Benin's busiest port, but coastal erosion has destroyed most of the old town and nowadays there is not much left of its grandeur. The beach is great though.

Accommodation can be found if you look hard, and there are some restaurants in Grand Popo.
