There is little to see in Guangdong province, apart from its capital Guangzhou (Canton). Not far from the provincial capital are the Xiqiao Hills, while cruises on the Pearl River are available in Guangzhou. Most travellers visit the province on business trips, as it includes the Special Economic Zones (SEZ's) of Shenzhen and Zhuhai, where numerous businesses are situated.
Places of interest in Guangdong include Danxia Mountain in Shaoguan, Yuexiu Hill, Baiyun Mountain in Guangzhou, Star Lake and the Seven Star Crags, Dinghu Mountain in Zhaoqing, the Huangmanzhai waterfalls in Jieyang and the Zhongshan Sun Wen Memorial Park for Sun Yat-sen in Zhongshan.
