Haikou (海口)

The port city of Haikou is located on the mouth of the Nandu River on the northern coast of Hainan and it is the island's largest city. It is also the capital of Hainan province.

There are only a few intersting sites in Haikou, including the Temple of the Five Lords, the shopping street of Zhongjie Road (忠介路), the shopping street of Jiefang East Road and the tallest structure in Haikou: Haikou Tower. Guoxing Avenue (国兴大道) is lined with some intersting buildings. There are many nice parks in Haikou.
