Hook Island

Hook Island has some of the best diving sites of the Whitsunday Islands. It also boasts several excellent beaches, popular yacht anchorages and a small, very low-key resort and campsite. Hook Island also has an underwater observatory.

Some of the oldest indications of Aboriginal occupation in Australia were found on the island.

Hook Island is on Australia's Great Barrier Reef and part of the Whitsunday Islands National Park.
