Ilha de Magaruque (Magaruque Island)

Magaruque is one of the 5 islands that make up the Bazaruto Archipelago. The island was formerly known as .

The island is very small, measuring only 2 km² (0.77 sq mi). Magaruque was included into the Bazaruto Archipelago National Park in 1971. It is about 10 km (6 mi) from the mainland of Mozambique.
