Imlil


Imlil is a small town in the Atlas Mountains, 350 southwest of Rabat. It is a good place to spend the night before climbing Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak in Northern Africa.

There are many shops in town where you can fill up your supplies, as well as several hotels and restaurants. Imlil has been in the news in 1995, when it was flooded during heavy rainsand in 2018, when two tourists were muredered by islamic terrorists.
