Ishasha

Ishasha is a border village on the border of Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Uganda. The distance between the two border crossings is about 500 m and Ishasha is about 350 m (1150 ft) from the Ishasha River, which is the border river in the area. The town sits on the shores of Lake Edward.

It is a good place to stay if you want to spend one night in the DRC before crossing into Uganda. Some accommodation is available in Ishasha and there's also a market in town. Ishasha is some 1650 km northeast of Kinshasa.
