Kanacea Island

The volcanic island of Kanacea boasts 7 peaks, the highest of which has an elevation of 259 m. Kanacea measures 12.48 km² (3,084 acres) and it is part of Fiji's Lau Islands group.

Kanacea is privately-owned and features a coconut plantation, many streams and nice beaches. The surrounding reefs are excellent for scuba-diving and snorkeling.

The island is 15 km west of Vanua Balavu.
