Katsina

Katsina is the last town before the border, when travelling to Maradi in Niger. It is an old, laid back city with a strong Muslim presence. Apart from some remaining parts of the city walls and a number of colorful festivals each year, there is nothing of any interest to travellers.

There are several hotels and restaurants in town. Katsina is 430 km north of Abuja, 865 km northeast of Lagos.
