Keta
Keta is the location of Fort Prinzenstein, also known as fort Prindsensten, which was built in 1784. The sea has slowly eroded the shore and the fort is in danger of collapse.
Apart from the fort there are several other interesting places to visit, including Gobah beach and the lighthouse of Cape St. Paul in the nearby town of Woe. It is thought to be the oldest lighthouse in Ghana.
Accommodation can be found at the Aborigines beach resort, Keta lagoon resort and the Emancipation beach resort amongst others.
Keta is on the coast of the Gulf of Guinea, 140 km east of Accra.
