Kikwit
Kikwit is one of the larger cities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, but there is nothing of interest. The city sits on the Kwilu River in the southwest of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Kikwit is fmous for its Pende dance ceremonies duriong which Munganji dancers wearing traditional costumes perform their art.
The city came in the news in 1995 because of an Ebola outbreak. You will find some accommodation in town. Kikwit is 395 km southeast of Kinshasa.
