Kribi

There is little of interest in Kribi, but the town has beautiful white sand beaches, probably the best ones in Cameroon. There are various small fishing villages nearby where you can get excellent seafood, of which the best ones include Cocotier Plage, Costa Blanca, Eboundja and Londji. These villages straddle a beautiful bay, some 25 km to the north. You can get there by taxi.

About 8 km south of Kribi is the town of Grand Batanga, where you can see the Chûtes de Lobé (Lobé Falls). You can take pirogue trips up the river above the falls, to visit Pygmy villages upstream.

Kribi is about 100 km south of Douala. There is some accommodation available and there are several restaurants.
