Kyela

Kyela is of little interest to travellers. There is nothing to see in the town, which is beautifully situated on the northern shore of Lake Malawi. The only reason to go there is when you are heading for Malawi and you arrive in the late afternoon. In that case the border will be closed and Kyela is a good place to spend the night.

There are several hotels and some food places in town. Kyela is 670 km southwest of Dar es Salaam.
