Lake Mburo National Park


Lake Mburo National Park consists of 290 km² of savannah in the southwest of Uganda. Acacia trees are scattered all over the area and the park includes 14 lakes, of which Lake Mburo is the largest. The park was founded in 1983 and animal species include buffalo, eland, hippo, impala, klipspringer, reedbuck, roan antelope, Rothschild's giraffe, warthog and zebra. There are also predators, including lion, leopard, hyenas, genets, African civet, jackals and serval.
