Leba-Pass
The Leba-Pass connects the Angolan cities of Lubango and Namibe and runs through the Serra da Leba (Leba Mountains). Its highest point is at an altitude of 1,845 m. It offers marvelous views of the surrounding area and there are numerous dramatic rock formations. The road winds through a tropical area and takes you down some 1,500 m to the dry coastal strip.
The Leba-pass is 690 km south from Luanda. You will need a 4WD vehicle, as the road is in very poor condition.
