Loma Plata

The town of Loma Plata is the oldest of the Mennonite settlements in northern Paraguay. Loma Plata is a traditional religious community. There are several churches in Loma Plata, some of which are German-speaking, while others are Spanish.

The tourist office is located on main street. The town's museum has an interesting exhibition on the history of Loma Plata. Several companies offer tours of their facilities.

Accommodation is available in Loma Plata. The town is 400 km northwest of Asunción.
