Manzanilla Beach
Manzanilla is the main beach on Trinidad's eastern coast. It has brown sand and there are palm trees. The beach is on the quieter site of the island and thus it's popular with people who look for a less crowded beach experience. Be careful when swimming there though, as during high tide the water can produce dangerous currents. Manzanilla Beach is also a hatching site for leatherback sea turtles.
Manzanilla is 55 km southeast of Port of Spain.
