Merzouga
Merzouga is the only place in Morocco where you can see huge, drifting expanses of sand dunes known as erg. There is some accommodation available and camel trips into the desert can be arranged in Merzouga as well. Merzouga is about 420 km southeast of Rabat, not far from the Algerian border.
