The coastal Murramarang National Park includes nice beaches and some areas of dense forest. There are also many kangaroos, birds and goannas.

Pebbly beach is one of the best beaches in the park. Myrtle Beach is a nudist beach. There are several tidal rock pools. Wasp Head, Depot, Pebbly and Merry Beaches are popular surfing spots.

Aling the headlands are numerous walking paths. Hiking onto Durras Mountain is also very popular. In the north of the park is Murramarang Aboriginal Area. Murramarang National Park is 200 km southwest of Sydney and 115 km southeast of Canberra. Accommodation is available in the park.
