Musoma

Musoma is one of the smaller ports on the eastern shore of Lake Victoria, about 60 km south from the place in the lake, where the borders of Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda intersect. The town has ferry connections with Bukoba and Mwanza.

There are several hotels in town. Musoma is 850 km northwest of Dar es Salaam, close to the Kenyan border.
