Nairobi National Park
Nairobi national Park is the most accessible park in Kenya. It is only a few kilometers from the city center of Nairobi and all of the big game that lives in the country is represented there, except for elephant. Walking in the park is prohibited, so you must have your own vehicle, rent a vehicle or try to get a lift from someone. There are also organized tours through the park.
The park was established in 1946. Nairobi National Park is served by bus, matatu (minibus) and taxi from central Nairobi. It is 7 km (4.3 mi) south of the capital.
