Nakpanduri

Nakpanduri is a traditional village that sits on the Gambaga escarpment, 565 km north of Accra. The village is a good starting point for trekking and there are magnificent views over the area. Down from the escarpment is a forest where there is a good chance of seeing wildlife, especially in the dry season, when the animals gather near a watering hole by the bridge down the hill.

There are several hotels and restaurants in the village and you can take the bus from Bawku to get there.
