Navrongo

Navrongo is 600 km north of Accra, on the main route to Burkina Faso and close to the border. The town has a lively market, a so-called mud cathedral and an adjacent grotto.

The cathedral was first constructed from mud in 1906. Accommodation is available on the site of the cathedral, a few kilometers from town.
