Nha Trang
Nha Trang is a major fishing port, which has also developed into a beach resort. The city boasts very clear turquoise waters, which are excellent for scuba diving and snorkeling. There is also a nice beach in town, as well as some interesting sites, such as the Cham Towers of Po Nagar, which was built between the 7th and 12th centuries on a site that had been in use for Hindu worship from the 2nd century AD. During that time Nha Trang was known as Kauthara. The towers sit at the mouth of Cái River.

- The Alexandre Yersin Museum was named after and is dedicated to the French-Swiss bacteriologist Alexandre Yersin. The museum exhibits Yersin's research equipment. It is located in Yersin's former residence, at 8-10 Tran Phu Boulevard, within the enclosure of the Pasteur Institute.
- The Ba Hồ Waterfall can be visited on Cái River boat tours.
- On boat tours on the Cái River usually include visits to islands off the coast, as well as to the Ba Hồ Waterfall.
- The Cái River Minigolf & Restaurant & Marina.
- The abovementioned Cham Towers at Po Nagar.
- The Chánh Tọa Church is also known as the Mountain Church.
- Chùa Long Sơn (Long Son Pagoda, or White Buddha Pagoda) translates as 'The Dragon Mountain Pagoda'. The temple was erected in 1886 and it features a statue of Gautama Buddha. It is located at 22 October 23 Street.

- The Marine Animal Museum is located in the vicinity of the Nha Trang Oceanography Institute. It features more than 20,000 sea and freshwater creatures.

- Nha Trang Oceanography Institute is a marine science center. It exibits thousands of oceanic life samples and includes an oceanic library. The institute is located at 1 Cau Da Street, next to Cau Da Wharf and some 6 km from the city center. The Marine Animal Museum is nearby.
- The Palace of Emperor Bảo Đại. Bảo Đại was the 13th and final emperor of the Nguyễn dynasty.
- The Pasteur Institute of Nha Trang was established by Alexandre Yersin in 1895. It is located at 8-10 Tran Phu Boulevard and includes a museum, dedicated to Yersin.
- Sạn Beach.

- Suối Tiên Stream (Fairy stream).
- Tháp Bà Hot Spring (Lady Tower Hot Spring).
- Tháp Bà Pô Nagar Nha Trang is one of the abovementioned Champa towers.
- Tong Lam Lo Son Pagoda features a statue of Amitabha Buddha.
- The Trí Nguyên Aquarium is home to hundreds of rare oceanic species. The feeding of these animals is especially interesting.
- The Vinpearl Cable Car connects Nha Trang with the island of Hòn Tre. It runs for 3,320 m over the sea.
- The Yangbay Waterfall.
Since Nha Trang is a fishing port, seafood is widely available. The better restaurants are situated in the center of town. One of the region's specialties is the exotic dragon fruit, known as thanh long. It only grows in the Nha Trang region and is used in drinks and food dishes. It looks a bit like a small pineapple and tastes like a kiwi. The best season to try the thanh long is between May and September.
The best time to visit Nha Trang is during the dry season between June and September. There are numerous hotels along the beach and around the railway station.
Nha Trang has bus and train connections with Ho Chi Minh City, 320 km to the southwest, and Hanoi, 1,040 km to the north.
