Nhlangano
Nhlangano sits on the Ngwavuma River in the south of Eswatini, some 90 km south of Mbabane, close to the Mahamba border crossing with South Africa. It used to be called Goedgegun but upon Eswatini's (then called Swaziland) independence in 1968, the name was changed to Nhlangano. There is little accommodation in town. Nhlangano has bus connections with Johannesburg in South Africa. That bus runs as far as Hlathikulu, 20 km to the northeast of Nhlangano.
Not far from Nhlangano is the scenic rocky valley of Mahamba Gorge, which is the location of Eswatini's first church.
