Norwalk (Ohio)

Norwalk was settled around 1817 by 'Fire Sufferers' from Norwalk in Connecticut, whose homes had been burned by the British in the American Revolution. Nowadays Norwalk is a trade and processing center for a farm area, with factories that make furniture, rubber, metal products and machine parts.

One of the few places of interest in Norwalk is the Huron County Courthouse and Jail.

Accommodation and restaurants are available in town. Norwalk is in the north of Ohio, 150 km north from Columbus and 520 km northwest from Washington D.C.
