Nueva Helvecia
Nueva Helvecia is a quiet agricultural town that was founded by Swiss settlers in 1862. It was originaly known as Colonia Suiza. The settlement produced wheat for the mills in Montevideo. Nowadays it still has a unique European flavor and large parts of Uruguay's dairy products are produced there.
