Oron
Oron is 1½ hours by ferry from Calabar, on the other side of the Cross River. There is a excellent museum in Oron that has exhibitions on carved masks and funerary art.
There is some accommodation in town, though most people prefer to stay in Calabar, where is more to see and do. Oron is 565 km southeast of Lagos, 500 km southeast of Abuja, in Nigeria's southeastern corner.
There are very few hotels in town. Ferries to Cameroon depart from Oron.
