The Parco Nazionale della Incicioni Rupestre is north of Milan along the Valle Camonica. It consists of three national parks that include some of the regions finest un-spoilt countryside. Parco dell'Adamello is the largest of the three. It is excellent for hiking. Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio is punctuated with Alpine rifugi.
In Incicioni Rupestre there are many places where you can see rock carvings, making it the most interesting of the three parks. Incicioni Rupestre measures 30 hectares (69 acres) and the oldest engravings date from the Bronze Age.
